Wherein I Discus My 365 Project Failure
15:02Early this year I joined 365 Project (a challenge where you take one photo every day for a whole year). But after being really enthusiastic for a couple of months and even writing a blog post about it, I gave up. Other things became more important to me, and I didn't seem to have the time to take the photos.
But a few days ago, I got thinking about that challenge again. I had a feeling I could have tried a lot harder. How difficult is it to take one photo a day? It doesn't even have to be a good photo!
"I'm going to try again," I told myself. "And this time I will try harder."
So I'm going to attempt this challenge again. I don't know if I will be able keep it up, but I hope I will!
I had another idea. What if I share the photos I'm going to take on my photography blog as well as the 365 Project site?
This is what I have been doing for the past two days. If you'd like to follow along my challenge, please visit my photography blog, Sophie Shutterbug, or my profile on 365 Project. I hope to see you there!
Have you ever attempted a 365 Project? Did you succeed? What's your advice?

You know how my attempt at the challenge ended!
ReplyDeleteI actually think the project is a fantastic way to challenge yourself creatively, to look at things differently in order to produce interesting photography. I just don't have time for it, but if you do, I recommend you stick with it! Often in the photography world people are a bit competitive and not always very "nice", but I found everyone at 365 to be so kind and encouraging.
I have tagged you for the Bedtime Book tag over at my blog: http://claredot.blogspot.com.au/2015/11/bedtime-book-tag.html
ReplyDeleteNice shot by the way.
