Are You Going to Write a Novel in July?

16:05

I haven't made a video in a long time. In between planning my Camp NaNoWriMo novel, having a bad cold and a prolonged asthma attack, I haven't had much free time.
But yesterday I finally got around to recording another video.
"I am going to make a video about Camp NaNoWriMo," I told Mum.
"That's a great idea," she agreed.
That afternoon, Mum set up the camera for me. "Good luck," she said before she left the room.
I started talking. I was determined to get this video right first try this time.
After a while I had quite a lot of video. More than enough to work with.
I found Mum. "I have finished my recording," I told her.
"Let's see," Mum said. She had a look at what I had filmed. "Good work," she told me.
I was surprised. Normally it takes me two or three tries to get a video right, but this time I got it first try.
That evening I sat down with my computer and started editing. I cut bits out, added transitions and made the video awesome.
Next morning I uploaded my video onto YouTube. I was very proud.
Would you like to watch my video? It's called I'm Sophie! I'm an Unschooler!...Camp NaNoWriMo....

  1. Hi Sophie,

Thanks for sharing! That's a really nice video!

I'm thinking about trying Camp NaNoWriMo this year, but I'm away for the first two weeks of July, so I don't know how I'll go!

I've had a general idea for a novel for the past few months, after I had a dream about it. I woke up, and immediately thought: 'that would be a nice book!' So, I thought I'd start writing it for Camp NaNoWriMo. Whether I finish it then, or not, will be found out later. But at least I'll have a start to it!
