Thoughts: When Mum bought this book for my birthday, I was overjoyed. Ever since finishing the first two books in the series, I'd been longing to know more about Rose and Fish. The book did not disappoint.

I found that while I was reading, my mind kept jumping ahead, trying to work out the mystery. Just as I would think I'd had it all worked out, I'd realise I was completely wrong. The end was really surprising.

I liked the way the book switched between Rose and Fish's points of view. Most retold fairytales mainly concentrate on the girl, but in this book, you get to know both of them.

My favourite part of this book was the characters. They were all unique, well developed and written. I couldn't help wanting them for my friends!

Thoughts: This was a very exciting book. I think it's a retelling of the fairytale, East of the Sun and West of the Moon, which I've never read before.

This story is very different, I couldn't put it down. It was one of those books that you just have to keep reading.

I love rewritten fairy-tales and I would definitely recommend this book. It's well worth a read.
